(THIS WEBSITE IS TEMPORARY, POSTER GENERATOR COMING NEXT WEEK)
This is a project created to raise the Youth Vote in the upcoming European Parliamentary Elections 2019. It’s a collaboration between creatives from all over the continent. We are independent and without political agendas. Last turnout was 28%, let change that!
Thanks to the Alfred Töpfer Stiftung for letting us create this.

In early February I stumbled across the number 28%. That is the number of the Voter participation in the age group 18-24 in the last elections. The next age group didn’t look more promising. The only one that did was the 55+ one.
So let’s sink that in. Young people from all over Europe in a majority of 72% don’t participate in one of the biggest acts of democracy on earth. Our future on this continent is not decided by us but for us.
Something needs to change and the only ones who can do it is us. Together. In an ideal world our vote is our future. And the only thing we need to do to make this a reality is to spend 2 minutes ticking a box every 5 years.
This is a call for action. We are not going to be lazy this year, we are going to be active. We have seen youth rising to the streets from climate policies to new internet laws. Decisions that are being made now affect us more than any other generation. So our generation’s vote turnout should be the highest.
Here is a three things you can do to increase the voting turnout this year:
1.Make Social Media social! Lets make this election go viral so no one can say they did not know it was happening. If you have 5 followers or 500k every post counts.
We made posters for you so all that you have to do is share them. Sharing is caring. You can delete the poster after the election if it doesn’t fit to your feed.
2. Bring it to the streets! Election campaign posters are designed for older generations so we often don’t pay attention to them. Print out one of our posters and hang it up at your local bus station, school or community centre.
3. Help a friend! If you are on this website the chances are high that you will participate in this years election. But what about your friends and family? Take them to the polling station with you. Convince them that every vote counts.
